Entries for the first meeting must be received by Tuesday 13th October.
The Carpet Thrashnal is a series of six meetings for electric circuit cars which will be held at the Christie Miller Sports Centre in Melksham.

Each of the six meetings comprises two championship rounds. Your best seven from twelve results will count towards the Carpet Thrashnal Championship. In the event of a tie the eighth round will be taken into consideration, and so on.
The Gas Cupboard will be trackside at each of the meetings to supply any items required.
Racing will be on Grey Prima GT carpet measuring approximately 30m x 16m. Only BRCA approved odourless additives are permitted.
As CML have agreed to sponsor this years championship the control tyre/wheel combos for the championship will be RP24 and RP30 pre glued sets for the touring car classes and Jaco lilac compound for World GT. CML are providing a number of prizes which will be part of the Tombola - £1 per ticket.
Additional Comet RC are also providing support in the form of some superb prizes for the Juniors. More details will be posted soon. So if you are a junior racer and would like the opportunity to race at a national indoor series and also have the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes then please complete your entry - either on-line or paper and send it to us. Juniors run as a class within a class.
The heats will be worked out prior to the meeting and as the Championship progresses will be based on your average points position, thus ensuring that even if you miss a meeting you are seeded into the appropriate heat.
We will aim to run a practice round, three qualifying rounds and a double leg final. Your Carpet Thrashnal Championship points will be based on your result in each leg of the final.
