Chippenham Model Car Club is based in Chippenham Wiltshire with the objective of promoting and encouraging the hobby and sport of radio controlled model car racing. Whether you are looking to compete or would like to just watch, the club will offer you a warm and friendly welcome.

The Chippenham Club provides a regular meeting place for people with an interest in Radio Controlled Model Car Racing. The club aims to provide a friendly and competitive atmosphere to all those interested in this sport and welcomes newcomers from all age groups. If you are considering getting a car and fancy having a go at the racing, please feel free to pop along to a club night where we will be pleased to assist and advise you.

Racing is conducted on Tuesday evenings throughout the year (Club Nights), with the larger “Carpet Thrashnall” event, taking place on selected Sundays during the winter months. Club nights are split dependant on season, with the summer meetings taking place outdoors on a prepared grass surface at the Chippenham Rugby Club and the winter meetings taking place indoors on a flat carpet surface, within the main hall at Hardenhuish School, Chippenham.

The club Chairman Dave Brown, the CMCC committee and membership, warmly invite newcomers to pop along and sample what the club has to offer. Shaun Hewitt, the club Public Relations Officer, has information packs available to him, should your information requirement be of a more general nature. He can assist you with your first steps into Model Motor Sport.
